At long last...

...Timed Standby v1.0 has been released!

There's plenty more to come but it's about time I got around to releasing this thing. The installer and source code are now available on SourceForge.net - see the Timed Standby page for the appropriate links.

Updates everywhere!

So the busiest term of my life happened - Timed Standby for Windows Phone has been delayed. But I'm finishing up the original idea - Timed Standby for Windows - and that should be released soon.

Also, there's a new site layout.

In case you didn't notice.

I'm hard at work on our next WP7 app, which will happily be released with Timed Standby. (Bet you can't guess what it does.)

The source code for rfk on Windows Phone has now been made available under the BSL. Check out the robotfindskitten page for the link.

In other news: v1.1 has hit the Marketplace, sorting out a handful of bugs and moving rfk for Windows Phone in line with the rfk RFC.

After a brief wait, robotfindskitten for Windows Phone has now been published. See? I even get to use a fancy button:

This is, of course, just a brief exercise in Windows Phone app development and publishing, given that I had already done most of the work for Zune. I plan on producing much more in future - once I figure out what it is I can produce. But for now, what are you waiting for? Go find kitten!

rfk returns!

First, some clarification: is it ironic that my delayed-power-management application has been delayed itself? I'll get back to you on when it might be released.

Part of why it's been so egregiously delayed, however, is that I've written a version of robotfindskitten for Windows Phone! See? It's not all bad.

rfk is currently going through certification on the Marketplace; once it's approved and published I'll update the site. For now, we wait.

hold please

Rearranging the site to make room for ...power. Just hang on tight now, and we'll be alright.

(In retrospect, this post sounds much more dramatic than necessary. I may need to think of a new name.)
